Leaders aren’t always the people who are running companies or speaking in front of a large group of people. Leadership in our rural community shows up where you least expect it. From difficult conversations at a coffee shop to volunteering for the fire department, or getting involved in a civic role or committee. Each of us is capable of creating change and inspiring ourselves and others when we are equipped with the right tools and knowledge. What a person learns about leadership can be used in so many ways, regardless of their career, industry, age, or title. By bridging our talents and communities together, we can continue to make McLeod County the best it can be.
